610. Roots: Politics vs. Females — 2. Faith

WWNH: Faith knows no vacuum. Everyone believes in something, and given the political climate today, they should identify what ideologies support their interest. Our national and cultural identities are under attack, and women continue to pay the biggest price caused by social and domestic disturbances.

Some people take our nation and culture for granted and are relatively inactive politically. Others seek to tear it down, so they can make it over. They are politically active and dominate the political landscape with activism biased strongly toward anti-American goals.

Some people learn history on their own. Others accept what they’re told by people with a bias in both recording and telling. (I admit a bias toward traditional America and against European political ideologies that differ with ours.)

Some people believe in God and the natural freedom claimed in the Declaration of Independence. They eagerly share the freedom with non-believers. Other people don’t believe in God, so they have no basis upon which to build or guarantee freedom for everyone—except the rule of man, which varies according to what man has the power at any given time or situation.

Some people see ideologies as cloudy compared to our clearly spelled out Constitution. Others see one or more ideologies as their way of life, their religion, their master set of beliefs and motivators. (Marxists used to teach new believers this adage: Everything’s political except politics, and that’s personal.)

Some people believe in American-style government with built-in ideologies of constitutionalism, capitalism, federalism, individualism, and republicanism (not the party). Others believe in European-style governments. Known as social democracies, they continue to evolve from ideologies far different than America’s, such as mixtures of fascism, socialism, communism, Marxism, and totalitarianism. Others also favor Feminism, globalism, environmentalism, utopianism, and other -isms that are purposely used to discredit the American -isms shown above.

Some people appreciate that Feminism has upgraded the economic, legal, and political status of females. Others are intent on using it for something else: eliminate male dominance and turn patriarchy into matriarchy.

No matriarchy arose in 7,000 years of recorded history; this sort of makes patriarchy the natural state of things. Women naturally gravitate toward achieving hopes and dreams and protecting their self-interest by taking advantage of male strengths. History proves one man per woman works best. But feminists turn men into enemies, marriage into temporary arrangements, and devalue what men value highly such as sex, virginity, and faithfulness to one’s mate.

Men dominate society or WHAT people do. Women dominate culture or WHY people do what they do. Feminism gained power by exploiting this truism. They pressured women to lower female values, standards, and expectations. Men changed society accordingly, and women lost the traditional ability to catch and hold one man for life.

Feminism is one branch of a political movement that’s been functioning in America for over 100 years. Some roots lie in ideologies that energize the elitist political movement bent on altering America to their image.

WWNH about ideologies is next.

601. Response to Viewer — Item 13

Her Ladyship Princess Rita said: “… I’m trying to get a true understanding of what may have caused the feminist movement.”

I undertook to describe the roots of Feminism. It’s definitely WWNH. But it takes me off the main theme of the blog. So, I ask your opinion. Would you be interested in reading about matters such as these?

·        Feminism’s hidden agenda is the imposition of another culture on top of the American Judeo-Christian culture. The taproot extends a century back in American history, and it remains part of a larger political movement that rattles our culture today.

·        The radical feminist founders and acolyte ‘political correctioneers’ use females as instruments of political gain. They make what works for their hidden agenda sound like benefits for all females, or if necessary, vice versa. Incrementalism eventually overcomes obstructions, and it continues today.

·        Some female benefits are worthwhile, no doubt about that. But, radicals and activists hide the political goals that produced these cultural disturbances: Turmoil generated between the sexes. Moral relativism advanced. Religion mocked. Virginity mocked. Unmarried sex promoted. Family values watered down. Male dominance increased.

·        Understanding certain terms is essential to grasping what “caused the feminist movement” as Princess Rita requests. Terms such as: democracy, republic, federalism, capitalism, fascism, socialism, progressivism. Also, constitutional principles chosen by the Founding Fathers to prevent the accumulation of too much power, which they saw as tyrannical by definition.

Care to see how politics helps or limits the fulfillment of female hopes and dreams? If yes, let me hear it.

Bona fides: My degrees are in political science. My experience includes the U.S. House of Representatives as a congressman’s chief of staff and four years in academia as professor or dean. Also, I spent two decades sworn to uphold the Constitution.

461. Men Won’t Admit —IV

The male persona is full of private agendas, and women don’t show sufficient respect for their man’s vital nondisclosures.

The list continues of what a man will seldom volunteer or admit:

22.           What’s behind his depression (even if he knows).

23.           That her unmarried chastity earns his respect.

24.           His hidden agenda when she tries to uncover it.

25.           That his immature behavior is adolescent or vice versa.

26.           Weakness in manliness and especially sexual performance and reputation.

27.           That other boys or men are the source of his weakness or character flaw. (He’ll reject guilt by association or copying what others do. He is his own man now and always.)

28.           Finally, he won’t admit to unvolunteered details after admitting to any of the above. He wants to admit only what he just admitted.

Men tend to hide thoughts, dodge queries, and evade rather than admit certain things. In general, women trying to open or explore what’s not volunteered about these subjects might be making their relationship toxic.

This ends the list for now. But stay tuned.

223. Weans, tweens, and teens #8 — Self-interest

Self-interest motivates adults. It flows out of three sequential stages in childhood. However, I ignore those subsets here to address the bigger, broader, and more vital self-interest itself. The subsetts come later.

☺ Self-interest is the totality of what’s important to each person as they define and weigh everything in life against their inner self. The following process lasts for life or until accident, drugs, or dementia kill it.

·        Our subconscious mind merges and integrates our instincts, self-worth, and self-image with our consciously derived hopes, aspirations, and fears.

·        This programs the subconscious mind with self-interest that motivates its owner. (Research shows that over 99% of human behavior is generated out of the subconscious mind. See more at post 193.)

☺ Self-interest motivates each individual constantly and throughout life. It drives the bus of a person’s behavior. It’s the subconscious and conscious power behind our efforts.

☺ Life is filled with tradeoffs to do what we want and don’t want, need and don’t need, fear and don’t fear. Self-interest guides us through the maze.

☺ If something’s not in our self-interest, our subconscious turns us away from it. If in our self-interest, our subconscious moves us toward it.

☺ No one reveals their complete or true self to others. That’s why everyone has hidden agendas.

☺ People make mistakes not in their best interests.  Correction or recovery then becomes a new ingredient in self-interest. Childhood marvelously demonstrates the process.

Raising kids is all about guiding a child through programming of self-interest. This post introduces the subject, The subsets show up in posts 239, 268, and 273.

[More about childhood mental growth appears in posts 208, 197, 193, 192, 187, 178, and 177. Scroll down or search by the number with a dot and space following it.]

187. Weans, tweens, and teens #3—The child’s psyche

The following predominant factors are programmed into each child’s subconscious mind: self-esteem, self-image, and self-interest. Whether they intend or not, adults do the programming in the weans; supercharge or deflate it in the tweens; and worry, enjoy, and interfere in the teens.

During and after such programming, self-talk and the self-fulfilling prophecy about successes and failures keep the subconscious up-to-date with the world in which the individual lives as both child and later as an adult.

For simplicity and clarity, I focus on the effects of Nurture and ignore Nature. We know too little about the genetic and parenting mixture, but parents, guardians, teachers, and other childcare givers do have control of Nurture programming.

Each factor will be covered in subsequent posts. But first, let me remove politics from the subject.

Our education system has corrupted the term ‘self-esteem’. Educators use the need for greater student self-esteem to gild professorial pockets, enlarge school budgets, and program teachers to confuse parents or defuse parental interference.

First, the term implies liking oneself. This empowers the educators’ hidden agenda that there’s never enough. All childhood misbehavior, low academic progress, and lack of motivation can be traced to lack of self-esteem. Of course, parents catch the blame. Teachers thus add value to themselves by working to compensate for parental errors.

Second, purposely or ignorantly, educators confuse it with and as a substitute for self-image (or –concept). This keeps the political side alive and jumping.

Therefore, I mostly use self-worth to define how individuals love, like, respect, and appreciate themselves as a person.

Self-worth is critical to a child’s well-being, but schools can do little about it. It hardens in the subconscious during the early years of weaning from, hopefully, the mother.

17. Dear Daughter — first letter

♀ After a couple has sex the first time, he owns their sexual agenda. It’s his right of conquest. If she balks and does not learn to outsmart or outmaneuver him on the issue, he departs sooner or later.

♀ A long courtship without sex enables her to slowly grow the conviction that she needs and trusts him for who he is and not just for being a man and what he says. On the other hand, having sex with him bonds her, but not him, and this keeps her from objectively evaluating him as a potential husband—for her.

♂ Sex differences are more important in relationships than sex likenesses. One woman claims that femininity adds color to a man’s black and white world. The Reverend Billy Graham says of his 54-year marriage, “Ruth and I are happily incompatible.” As another man claims, “It took the first 35 years to get her trained exactly like she wants me.”

♂ Do you think your man can’t get any worse? I once heard a guy introduce his wife to another man this way in the presence of three male friends: “This is my ugly wife, (her name).”

♀ A mature woman can cope with her man’s sharp tongue much easier than he can with hers.

♀ A wife is a reflection of her husband. A wife is a reflection of her husband. A wife is a reflec….

♂ After a man conquers you, he knows you well enough to move on to something else that may or may not include you. It’s his nature.

♀ A woman needs to obey her nature to become extraordinary so a man will marry her for keeps. Feminine mystique, strong-willed female modesty, and female-protective moral standards generate reflections of extraordinariness in each man’s eyes.

♂ Extraordinariness to men means that he and other men haven’t had her and can’t have her without paying the dearest price of masculine freedom.

♀ Female relationship expertise demands high standards and expectations for oneself. Without values that override your emotions, living with a man does not work well.

Describing workable marriage is simple. Men seek freedom, but wives seek to curtail it. This obligates each woman as girlfriend, fiancé, and wife to respectively generate, intensify, and sustain her man’s devotion to her. Only that—reinforced by his dedication to legal, moral, or religious principles—will consistently overpower a man’s natural urge to hunt and conquer or just seek somebody younger.

♂ Remember this, kids always have lower status and stature than husband, if you intend to keep him.

Men can be intuitive too. When you think he deserves your criticism, he instinctively disagrees.

Never trust what people say motivates them. Not to accuse them of lying, but to point out that most explanations have collateral if not hidden agendas that make the speaker look good or someone else appear to be less so.

♀ Romantic love is based on infatuation that arises from masculine lust and female dreams. It fades after spending a year or two as a couple. Enduring love, the kind that lasts forever, is neither as spontaneous nor easily terminated.

♂♀ Successful marriage is a swap meet. He yields his freedom for her dedication to him and his dreams. She yields her independence for dependence on him.

♀ Wives can dress two ways: Seductively to attract other men, or attractively and modestly so as to reflect credit on husband. The former endangers, the latter helps sustain marriage.

Selfishness and self-centeredness by either mate add toxins to a couple’s life. It may take years, but the relationship expert—you—can learn to detoxify most of what arises.

♀ Here’s some advice on how to capture and hold a good man: Love being female, act it, and don’t envy men except for those with admirable character traits. Keep legs crossed at least until after—but never in response to—his serious proposal for marriage. (Make him wait longer and never shack up—that’s the man’s game.) Be patient waiting for his actions to expand into devotion at the level you can live with forever. Make him the seller and make yourself the buyer for marriage. Don’t marry until he needs no more upgrades in his devotion to you to please you for life.
