2619. Merry Christmas Y’all

Merry Christmas to everyone of you precious gals, dolls, darlings, honeys, beauties, princesses, and queens—especially those undergoing hard times—and best wishes those to whom you belong or they belong to you.

I love you everyone. I accept your comments as year-round Christmas presents. Without you, the challenges out of which I make a satisfying life would be missing.

And Happy Hanukkah to you ladies of an admirable and highly respected faith.

Thank you for using the most beautiful nicknames a gentleman could find. Now, if you will excuse my selfishness, I plan to occupy ‘doll, darling and princess’ titles. One time a year I’m allowed to do this.

  9. Your words are a Christmas present the whole year to all of us as well. May the new year bring you many good things, Sir Guy. What a good, knightly, kind and handsome gentleman you are.

  10. You Sir Guy, bring additional color into my life and I think to the lives of all of us who frequent this forum and who have benefitted from your wise counsel.

God Bless you and yours abundantly

Merry (belated) Christmas. Hubby got me an amazing gift this year. I was oggling said gift and he proudly exclaimed “husbands are never more handsome than when they buy their wives nice things for Christmas!”. I had no idea that phrase had left such an impression. I don’t think I’ve said it to him in over a year! He would always brush it off as if I was just brown nosing so I figured he didn’t like it. I guess I was wrong!

By the way, I’ve been on here over 7 years(!) and there were many articles published before I arrived. Men are never more handsome than when they are loyal to a cause.

    Your Highness Anonymous,
You made my day, darling. But then that’s not unusual for you.

Sir Guy and Ladies (and gents?), I hope you all had the MOST WONDERFUL of holidays and peace and prosperity to all for the coming new year!

Dear Sir Guy, I hope your Christmas season is warm and happy as can be and that you are enjoying yourself with family and friends! As well, I have a question that seems to come up every year around this time. I truly enjoy the holiday season and attempt to generate that feeling in my small family—cooking special foods, trying to visit family, walking around enjoying the various displays and listening to music, (regardless of my faith I do enjoy the music of Christmas and acknowledge its sense of wonder)…but I find I do so largely on my own and I end up feeling lonely. My husband and child just seem too wrapped up in internet, problems or work to lift their eyes up and enjoy the days around Hannukah, Christmas etc. They act like its the same time as any other, basically staying in their rooms despite years of my making the home cozy, cooking their favorite foods etc. They behave like Grinches! Not that I nag them about it. I just end up feeling sad because I can’t seem to inspire them. Should I give up and join them in ignoring everything or continue to go out alone or with friends and have a good time?

    Your Highness Meow Meow,
Do what your personal guiding principles empower/encourage you to do.
